Game won't launch after the 2.0 patch

CAN CONFIRM. Logging into a different account with BFII allows me to launch the game, logging out and back into my account also allowed me to launch the game.

logged out of my account

logged into my brothers account

started battlefront -> worked

closed the game

switched back to my account

battlefront worked again

@Kill3rPotat0 I don't recommend to do that, just wait for a fix, and EA should compensate us for wasting our time for not playing the game.

@Kill3rPotat0  Sadly that would be illegal and could cost us our accounts, afaik.

@Ali-5M  Yeah... it's not only the daily login rewards (however they may look now, after the patch) and the credits from our daily Arcade allowance, it's simply sitting here all day long, logging around, trying settings, downloading and re-installing stuff instead of being able to play a game we paid for in full right when a new progression system hits that needs you to play everything in order to level it up...

By the way, trying to start the game with an account that doesn't own the game (I know, the longest of shots ever) and then, after being told you don't own the game, switching back to your own account does NOT work. No, I am not braindead, just desperate. So I tried. Sue me.

@TheGhostlyWhite Or work at all. That can be questioned at least in terms of testing.

EA History, we could probably play sometime next week, with a sorry for the inconvenience from the devs hahaha

I would happily play alone against 20 guys with DC-15LE w/ explosive shot (1.2 version explosive shot). If I could at least play. I wonder how hard it would would be for EA/DICE to just roll back the patch. At least for PC.

Do you all have a game bought digitally or on the box? My friend has bought his game on origin and he doesnt have any problems, i have bought it on a box and it doesnt run. I have seen also that if u try to add a new game with ur bf2 key it doesnt say its taken, it will let u activate it like a new game lol

Whatever, I don't trust in EA/DICEs capabilities to develop games without gamebreaking bugs and errors ever since they released Battlefield 4.

I'll just go and play Battlefront II (2005). CD-ROM ftw.

@Lord_St4rkill3r is 100% right with this fixed. My brother was kind enough to let me use his login and it fixed the issue. If you guys have somebody you trust I would say go for it because nothing else worked.

My brother don't play this game and i don't know someone who play it.. who i trust i mean. So I can't play this game, which i paid for, because no one plays it? -_- All of my friends say this game is *, so they play other games. I though this Update were nice.. But now i can't play. Tried all of the solutions, but i don't share my account with others... I hope they fixed this * quickly..
