I solved the problem !!!!
First of all unistall origin (don't worry it will not delete any game) then run %ProgramData%, open the Origin folder, and delete everything within it. Do the same for %AppData%. After this, click on the “AppData” at the top of the window. Open the “Local” folder. Delete the Origin folder here. Now restart the PC.

Tried all of the suggestions with the same result.
Game runs for 10-15 seconds with a windowed black screen (about half my desktop). I see it open in task manager, then it closes itself out.
Uninstalled Origin - Deleted all files in AppData/Program Data - Then reinstalled Origin. Nothing.
Uninstalled Epic Games launcher and reinstalled. Nothing.
Set Origin/Epic Games/BF2 all to launch as admin. Nothing. Tried in different compatibility modes. Zip.
Ran the file checker repair option in Origin for BF2. Nada.
I’ve also tried launching it separately from the desktop, launching it from Epic games, and from Origin. No dice.
Also, I’m curious if this has something to do with it -There was a suggestion in the link below (option 3) to edit 2 files in the BF2 settings folder in your documents. Thing is, there is no settings folder with those files to edit? Not sure why though? Maybe because the game has yet to actually launch yet?If anyone comes up with any other ideas, I’m all ears...
*As a side note to one of the earlier posts, I bought BF2 on steam during the winter sale about a week ago, and had the same issue of the game not wanting to launch through Origin/Steam. I tried multiple times to troubleshoot with no luck, and ended up requesting a refund. Since I now got it for free from the Epic store, I’m not butthurt. Just lame that I can’t get it to run.
- 5 years ago@theshield805 I tried mot of these tricks as well and still no luck. EA did have a notice about them being aware of the issue, so we may just have to wait it out.

So, Downloaded and installed again and tried everything, every solution here. Again...same result. Game was playable while downloading...played the arcade. After download finished...it doesn't launch anymore. Tried every possible solution from removing cahe, even deleting the origin folders, launching with elevated permissions (even the origin with elevated permission), Installed all the VC and DirectX, tried launching from Epic launcher, etc, everything...Game doesn't launch anymore. lol...I think even Devs don't know the solution, other vise someone should have suggested the solution. Uninstalling...
