I also had this problem and finally found the solution. It seems that origin must be installed in the C: drive for the game to launch.
Here were my steps to fixing it:
Make sure the game is installed (Anywhere it doesnt matter)
Make sure Origin and Epic Game Store are both closed (Not running in task bar closed)
Uninstall Origin from control panel
Open Epic Games Store, locate SWBF2 (It was showing as uninstalled for me)
Launch the game
It will reinstall Origin into the C: drive and then boot up the game without installing the whole thing again
