This worked for me:
Uninstalling ORIGIN Launcher.
Download latest Version and installing.
Now the Game starts...
Seems that i didnt had the newest one..
Same here. My computer freezes and then I have to force it to reboot. It gets stuck after the second time the ball in the top right corner in getting smaller.

Did you just uninstall Origin from the programs and features section in windows?
It might be related to DirectX12. You can remove it from the "Bootoption" file. just input a "0" insted of the "1" following "GstRender.EnableDx12"

Where is the bootoption file? That is what I wanted to try but couldn't find the config file.

Need to make sure your drivers are updated as well guys. Finally got the game to launch successfully and gave me an error that I needed Nvidia driver 387 as I was running 385.
Boom reinstalling origin worked for me, goddam I thought it was meant to auto update??
Reinstalling origins didn't work for me
I will try the settings folder trick or knocking down driect x12
did not work for me
I'm going to damage my pc if I keep restarting it like this
