Game wont load after changing to DX12
game launched fine after inital install but after changing to dx12 in settings and restarting gsame it refuses to load. tried repair and still no joy.
uninstalled and re downloading now to see if it fixes it

We had this same problem during the beta and reported the issue then.
A shame it still doesn't seem to be working...
While I can't seem to be able to find the beta comments, from what I recall, you don't need to re-install. You just need to remove the "settings" folder in the "STAR WARS Battlefront II" folder within "My Documents" -> My Documents\STAR WARS Battlefront II\settings. Next time the game loads, it will recreate the files with their defaults.
BTW - If anyone knows specifically what we're missing by not having DX12, it would be great to post that.
not sure it is worth using dx12.
youtube comparo done by bang4buck pc gamer showed side by side fps of dx 11 vs 12, dx11 was about 20fps on average better.
although this is with an nVidia gpu, if you have an amd it might make sense.
