Gamma issue battlefront 2

Product: Star Wars Battlefront II
Platform:PC
What is your issue related to? General
Summarize your bug After alt tabbing in the middle of a match, the resolution is completely destroyed and the gamma seems to be maxed out, kind of like when you put the resolution too high and it gets all bright. it's very bright now and the text is bright and pixelated. And the resolution is on the correct setting, but it's off. Even after uninstalling and repairing, it hasn't changed. I haven't found any forums on this topic, and I'd like to play before bb8 drops. This hasn't happened at all since launch, and I don't know what i did incorrectly. I dont know if i alt tabbed in fullscreen, window, or borderless. all options still have the visual option.
What is your gamertag/PSN ID/EA Account name? MetroPolice3
How often does the bug occur? Rarely (0% - 9%)
Can you tell us the date (MM/DD/YYYY) that you saw the bug? 1/9/2020
What time did you see the bug? (HH:MM AM/PM) 07:07 PM
In what game mode did the bug occur? Capital Supremacy
What is your time zone? EST (IET) - GMT - 5:30
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? All I did was Alt Tab once, and it's alt tabbed fine before this.
What happens when the bug occurs? When I alt tabbed, the resolution changed multiple times, as is if it was trying to adjust. Then when I clicked back on, the resolution was changed to "1080p 720" and the gamma was max. The gamma has been like that instead
What do you expect to see? Well, not my gamma being boosted to max and it being pixelated.
Please select your region North America
AMD or Nvidia Model Number

This has never happened before. I have had this game for 2 years ever since launch, I don't know why this is happening.

    @MetroPolice3

Try switching between Dxd11 and 12 in the game graphics options.

If that does not help, check if reinstalling your video drivers has an effect.

    Thanks.

  • The coloring is still messed up, I'll try and figure out how to reinstall video drivers without breaking my computer. The direct x 12 thing didn't work either, every graphic option has not worked. I remember that it was fullscreened and it changed like 5 times as if the screen was trying to keep up.

  • I use windows 10, is there a guide I could use to reinstall video drivers? I'm very afraid of breaking my computer.

  • @EA_Barry Update, i tried "repairing it" and it worked once, but I relaunched to make sure the effect was permanent and now it's back. On the third time launching it showed the normal loading screen then it went too high gamma. I don't know what I'm doing incorrectly.
  • Ok, so I have looked up this issue and it seems like other people have had it but in APEX. The solution was to change the game to window borderless but now my game is darkening my screen so horribly, I can't see anything.

To put my issues lightly. If the game is in fullscreen, it will apply a horribly bad gamma profile that makes the game look brighter and more washed out. If I swap to borderless fullscreen, sometimes it will act normal. Sometimes the game will turn my screen so dark it might as well just be powered off. I need help. NO OTHER GAME I HAVE IS DOING THIS TO ME. Why is origin overriding my screen/color profile? I literally have done nothing in windows other than download the stupid game. Is there anyone else having this problem that could help?

P.S. I have an AMD system so I don't know how to change the settings through that and when I have tried to go in the game file, I cannot find the text file that would have all of the display settings.
