Unfortunately, the Jetpack Cargo mode was NOT that good IMO. ☹️
I loved the idea itself and I did play that game mode several times, but you know.
Let me explain a little bit...
- Only Aerial class are available (but NO exp point for Aerial)
- We could choose Pistol or Rifle for those Aerials, it was a good point
- I hoped we can use other units like Enforcers
- Only 2 maps are available (Tatooine and Bespin)
- Tatooine was good for this mode but Bespin was terrible
- In Bespin, the goal was too far, it made the game really long (1 hour or more)
- HCarbonic6 years agoNot applicable@Sati_Sati SHHHH you weren't supposed to remind DICE about the flaws 😉. I am aware of these flaws, but we need cargo in some form, and whether they fly now (They fly now!) or not, I don't care...just give me back my cargo! MEMP as well
@Appl3Corps I liked them too, but I didn't play as much as I was a bit underleveled because I joined the game at a later date. Also I found the maps were a bit too open. And I guess I always preffered cargo
@AccurateThings it can't be cancer as there is no cure for cancer...a bit of tweaking and I think the devs would be able to get it up and running with balance. Preferably they could just move the objective off high spots on Tatooine and make the default classes the default player selection...and maybe have aerials as a cheap, normal or high battle point cost depending on balancing. - AccurateThings6 years agoNot applicable@Sati_Sati yavin 4 was also a map
- HCarbonic6 years agoNot applicable@AccurateThings I’m not sure, you might be thinking of strike on Yavin which was to do with a cargo, and everyone abused the jet pack troopers to complete the objective
- AccurateThings6 years agoNot applicable@HCarbonic No I am pretty sure yavin 4 was the 3rd jetpack cargo map. One of the checkpoints was at the imperial spawn.
