Dear Support,
I dont know why but no matter what i do or howmany times i quit and restart the gaem and the origin as well, but each time when some one from my friend list is try to invite me to a party to play together i press the Y button to accept it, or clicking on it to accept, but the game dosent put us together in a group, so basicly we can't play together.

If i send an invitation they can't see my request fro joingin into a group. NOTE: none of us in a group so that is not a problem.

Could you provide a video for this? If it happens all the time, you can reproduce it and record it for the report. A video helps any report a lot around here.

But for now I have 3 things about the topic to share:

1st - You can't form groups with anyone "Appearing Offline" or "Invisible" (I don't remember the proper name origin uses for this state). If you are with this status on origin, your invites to friends never reach them, and invites from them never reach you. The same happens if your friends are with this status, no invites from them will reach you, nor yours will reach them. So keep it in mind everyone must be visible on origin for a group to form.

2nd - Origin ingame is buggy, maybe that's the culprit. Many times, back when I used that option, my origin would crash but the game would continue to work for quite some time until it crashed as well. When I disabled origin ingame it never crashed again, and I believe I have this option disabled for a year already, so no origin crashes for a year.

3rd - Have you tried to accept an invitation back in the origin app itself? Everytime a friend sends you an invite, a chat window opens on origin showing that your friend is playing a game and that you can join him or not. If both these options are there, then this means he sent you an invite and if you accept it you'll not only join the game (if you haven't it open already) and will join his party. If only the option to join the game is there, then this means he didn't invite you and if you click it you'll just join the game (maybe join his match as well? not sure on this last part though).

    I hope this helps

Thanks for flagging my answer as the solution, but it seems it didn't solve your issue, unfortunately. I have no idea when/if they'll fix this issue with Origin. I've been playing with origin ingame disabled for a long time and that has solved any origin crashing event.

When origin has crashed but you can still play the game, any invitations you receive never reach you, but invites you send to others reach them. However, it's better to restart origin then play with it crashed, as the game won't take long to crash as well, and may start to display some weird behaviors (extra loading times, maybe even some UI glitches too) before eventually crashing.

Also, do you have more then 99 friends on origin? 100+ friends on origin is known to cause some party BUGs.

Besides this I really don't know what could be the cause of your issue. Can your friend(s) form groups with other people? If the issue is only on your end this may help to fix your issue.

BTW, if you're using Windows 10, you can record any game using Xbox's Game DVR, the native recording software for Windows 10 (it has xbox in its name, but it's a Windows PC feature). The default command to record a software is (Windows Button) + Alt + R. The default location videos are saved is (User)/Videos/Captures

  • The whole group system is bugged on Xbox as well.

We have no trouble getting into the same in-game group, and we are also in an xbox party outside of BF2 - the game will find the same match for us, but we are randomly put into different squads, so it's no use.

  • The whole group system is also buggy as all get out on PS4 as well.  I've reported extensively, with lots of detail, but never got a response.  We usually get at least one game-stopping problem every night, so these are not isolated incidents.
