Heroes mixed in when other eras?
I am a bit confused. Will heroes from different eras be mixed at full release? Like Han, Rey, and Boba being playable in a clone wars era map? Or was this just for beta testing and the heroes will mat...

Community Admin@kwhiskey13Hey, I don't have a 100% confirmed answer but I think some modes will have era-specific heroes, and some modes (Hero/Villain-centric modes for example) will definitely have cross-era matchups.

All three eras? How does that work?
The multiplayer element of Star Wars Battlefront II includes planets, locations, Heroes, vehicles, and weapons from the Star Wars Prequels, the Original Trilogy, and the new era. Troopers will match the aesthetic of their respective time period, with Battle Droids in Theed, snowtroopers on Hoth, etc. For those of you who want to live out dream battles between Star Wars ' most iconic characters, some modes will support era-crossover play for Heroes, allowing you to set matchups between familiar faces from different time periods. Want to pit Yoda against Kylo Ren? You can do that.

Wait, does that mean each map will be faction specific? I won't be able to play as the Empire against the Rebels on Theed or the Separatists fighting the Republic on Hoth, but I can somwhow choose any hero I want? That's like the complete opposite of the Original Battlefront II, where you could choose any faction on any map but were limited to a specific hero.
