Heroes Vs Villains Matchmaking bug

What is your issue related to? General
Summarize your bug When trying to play Heroes vs villains, after you find a match and enter the pre-game lobby. Sometimes there will be one player missing in order to begin and the matchmaker will keep searching but will never find one. I've tried waiting up to 20 mins and still nothing. When other players leave because they dont want to wait, the matchmaker will then find new players to replace them but it will never find the last player.

What time did you see the bug? (HH:MM AM/PM) Random times
In what game mode did the bug occur? Heroes vs. Villains
What is your time zone? ECT - GMT + 1:00
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play Heroes vs Villains and "Hope" that the bug happens
What happens when the bug occurs? Can't play. Have to leave the match and try again. But I find that if it happens once it usually happens a few times in a row. but it's random
What do you expect to see? The game working

Not a huge bug but its pretty annoying

    Similar on PC...

    For me, it's not that it "never" gets the last person in - just takes a really long time.

    Well I tried waiting 45 mins one time (was getting dinner) and still no luck

    Yes.  The matchmaking has to be broken.  EVERY single time, it's waiting on 1 person.  Once in a while, you get that 8th person.  Most times, it's 3v4 - if you wait forever for it to finally give up.

    It's impossible that only 7 people are looking to play at this point.  I'm on East US, PC.  Regardless... this game has 5 game modes.  Impossible that there aren't dozens/hundreds of people trying to play HvV.  This is a bug.

    I saw another thread that suggests the matchmaking logic is trying to match people with similar experience levels - i.e. don't let the noobs into a match in which they'd get slaughtered.

    While I find it hard to believe the logic is that advanced, that would help explain the long wait.

    Literally happens with EVERY hero's vs villains game I join. The 7 out 8 slots fill up like its nothing, but when you get to that last slot, it could take up to 15 minutes, and thats on a good day. -ps4

    i have the same issue on xbox one, every other game mode is fine besides heroes vs villians. it always takes ages to find players and again always searching for the last player for ages.

    also some times i cant use the heroes or villains moves amd only can once i die amd respawn.

    Now it got even worse.

    Idle players stay in the lobby.

    They do nothing in the game, just standing there !
