How did you manage to justify Battlefront 2's ai, to yourselves?

This game has, without exaggeration, the worst ai to ever exist in the gaming industry, full stop. 2005's ai far exceeds this game. If this is what passes for acceptable standards in triple a companies, I'd like to know how exactly Viktor Lundberg and Martin Kopparhed got their jobs.

With the winter sale, and the game on the market for about $5.00, I spent the past few days testing it out. That said, I've played it enough to know that this was a *-poor amateur rush job, made by people who've never actually worked on ai in games leading up to this point (Viktor Lundberg and Martin Kopparhed). That being said, I have too much self-respect to subject myself to such a low quality gameplay experience on a long-term basis.
