How to fix: Mouse and/or keyboard don't work in game

I have the discord app on my computer and there isn't even a game overlay on there anywhere in the settings. I reset my computer 4 times and the mouse still is glitching like crazy in-game the mouse not letting me look past the border of my computer screen and in the menu it's spazzing so much that it clicks the wrong buttons I don't even hover anywhere near. at this point, I'm about to delete the game because it been an issue when it came out and the fact it's still an issue in 2023 is embarrassing EA...
