Are you running an overlay, @Mark87340 ?

If so, please follow the instructions in the first post of this thread.

It does fix the problem, but if  I disable the overlay im not able to join my friends lobby...

    THANK YOU FOR SAYING THIS. I AM ALSO WONDERING HOW DO YOU GET FRIENDS TO JOIN YOU BECAUSE WHEN YOU DISABLE THE OVERLAY YOU CANT JOIN A PARTY
