Not sure if you got this issue fixed yet, but I had this same issue and I fixed it by going to All Settings on Windows, Ease of Access, Keyboard, and I turned off "Use Sticky Keys." I had turned it on previously to troubleshoot another issue I had been having with my keyboard. I do not think this issue was related to the mouse at all.
