Solved

I keep moving even though I don't anything?

Hi so I have this issue where I'm just constantly moving forward while I'm not doing anything with my controller. I haven't seen any posts about this, but I've seen someone else with this issue in the game itself. This problem started after the latest update. Does anyone know how to fix this?
  • Hey,

I play on XBox and I've been having the same issue up until just now. It's a controller sesativity issue. Your "stick deadzone" is too low. This make your console/ computer super sensitive to the slightest changes in direction of your joystick/ thumb sticks - even when you aren't touching the controller. This is dew to the inherent margin of error (imperfection) of human engineering/ manufacturing. Play Station, or any other platform for that matter, can't make a controller with perfectly centered thumb sticks, anymore than anyone of us can draw a perfectly straight line.

Here's the fix - access the following menues: Options/ Controls/ Stick Deadzone

    Increase or decrease as necessary.

I find that 11 is the lowest that I can take my stick deadzone before my cross hairs and trooper start moving on their own.

Hope this helps. It sure was a huge relief for me to to finally resolve this problem. Now I can start having fun with the game, and stop blaming my poor aim on the controller.

    Peace bro!

Hey @Starawn_2000 What happens if you shut down all your controllers for the game, (most likely that you need to connect a controller) but do you see that your character is moving behind the message?
