I'm getting graphics glitches in Star Wars Battlefront 2??

I recently installed SW BF2 and have been having issues on and off with it. One issue is that I seem to get graphics glitches occuring fairly often and of different types. Sometimes all the colours will change and become very colourful, other times lights will appear very bright and other times I see these very bright multicoloured areas. Very strange and I really have no idea whats causing it. Other games run fine without any glitches. Is this a hardware fault possibly?

Is it possible the HDD could be causing this? It's about 6 years old so potentially could be failing although I'm not sure whether this could be the culprit.

First, reinstalling your video drivers is advised. I do not think this is a hardware issue.
