Infinite Black screen on startup after patch 1.2

I get an infinite black screen when trying to start up the game. Anyone got a fix? Happens since patch 1.2

    Hey @TheBamboozler42 Try removing the 2 exe files that you have in your installation folder for SWBF2 and then run a repair on SWBF2 in Origin.

    I completely re downloaded the game which seemed to fix it but your solution would have been way quicker probably, thanks.

    when i do that it said to install the game but repair
