There was going to be another video, but it didn't want to cooperate. It wasn't much different, just longer and in a different place. The only thing interesting was a droid said something to the effect of there being an enemy turret nearby so I guess they can detect them, they just don't care to fight back. They do dodge the turret attacks sometimes though.
I can confirm this happens on Coop as well.
BTW, I recently discovered how cheap Coop is to get experience with your classes, especially the Officer as he has the same high point gain build that works in multiplayer, and he can deploy a turret no enemy will ever dare to destroy. It's hilarious to say the least.

Yeah, one well placed turret can really take care of a lot of enemies. As long as you don't die, the turret just stays there and shreds nearby enemies.

I changed the category to Capital Supremacy since Instant Action is more closely related to that than Arcade. The AI also don't seem to shoot at Phasma's sentry either.

Something funny about it, and maybe the reason why this happens, when Co-Op AI (which is the same as the instant action one) gets shot by your turret, if there's nothing hiding you from them, they'll immediately turn in your direction and shoot you.
This AI turns to whoever is shooting them, they turn around to the specific direction almost instantly and start shooting. In this case, instead of facing the turret and shooting it, they turn to you and shoot you. I assume they are reading a shot from the turret as a shot from you the owner, so they turn to you and not the turret. But that's just speculation though.
EA/DICE are yet to acknowledge this issue, which came with the inclusion of Supremacy AI
