That is what the error message implies. However, I'm not sure.
I can see why EA support might direct you to the user forum - i.e. to see if anyone else figured out what it was about. However, EA Support is ultimately responsible for resolving the issue for you, not the other players you find on this forum.
I suggest you go back to EA Support and let them know you gave AHQ a go, but it didn't work out. They need to fix it for you. If they don't, get back to me and I'll see if I can light a fire with one of my contacts at EA.
So I wanted to keep you updated, EA told me to make a local account and try launching Battlefront 2 from it, still nothing. And they also had me to a "compatability test" still nothing but I don't have the option to live chat anymore tonight, so I'll try them again tomorrow

Sadly it hasn't gone well. I contacted them again, and tried a laundry list of ideas including creating a local account on my computer and launching it from a different account and running a compatability test to which neither worked, . I am going to try and make a new account and rebuy the game and see if it launches. Then if it does, I'll refund the game. That way I know if it's on my account or computer.
