It hasn't gone well. I contacted them again, and tried a laundry list of ideas including creating a local account on my computer and launching it from a different account and running a compatability test to which neither worked, .  I am going to try and make a new account and rebuy the game and see if it launches. Then if it does, I'll refund the game. That way I know if it's on my account or computer.
