Please right click on the game tile in Origin and then click Repair.
Let that process finish and then try to play.
Do let us know if this helps you, thanks.
Thanks that did the trick. Not sure why this happened though. I launched the game the day before with no problems then changed my username and after attempting to launch received this error. Strange. Anyway thank you that solution worked.

Good stuff, thanks for letting us know that worked for you!
Hi Barry,
A friend of mine had the same issue and fixed it temporarily by repairing the game, but today he had the same error
And he doesn't want to repare it again because it's a lot of GBs and time doing it
Please help us if you can
<3My game updated today and after the update it gives me the Invalid License. Reason code = Invalid Cipher (0x0006) error. I tried repairing and it didn't work. restarting origin did not work either. Before that my game was not working (due to the black screen issue after the Rise of Skywalker update) so in today's update it gives me this popup (see attached)
What should I do now?
Ok, it is now solved. I restarted my PC and then Repaired it once again, and it is now playing. If that occurs again I will post here.

I'm closing this thread to stop it from being necroed.
If you have any issues with SWBF2 please make a new topic about the issues you are having and what kind of steps you have tried to solve them.
