Ion Turrets need to be nerfed or only limited to attacking vehicles. They lock on far too quickly and have far too much range. Just finished playing a round on Kashyyyk and could barely step out of cover without being blasted from across the map.
Stop. They are soooo easy to kill and are pretty weak. If anything they need a buff.
I agree with Phat_Helmet. The ion turrets are far from OP against troopers. In fact, the shots are so bright that you can easily see them from 500 m away, and they're so slow that if you see them, you have plenty of time to run behind cover to avoid being hit.
