- What's wrong with star wars music?? It's amazing stuff already!

The same music over and over again drowning, I didn't feel it "motivating" or "moving" dramatically with the scenery.
- Hmmm... I've always loved it. Have had the CD's and boxed sets of it all over the years. John Williams is amazing. Good luck in your replacement search though. May I suggest some Metallica or something similar? That'd work for me for flying ships and blasting other ones into bits.

@TheSplynncryth I listened to about thirty Metallica songs on Apple Music, sadly I will pass on them, just not what I was looking for.
Thus I kept searching and I should have taken a better look at the albums I already own. Such as a instrumental by Hans Zimmer with Man Of Steel is very promising for what I actually wanted. Oil Rig and If You Love These People were pretty decent for background entertainment. - 30 songs!? Well, either way it's not a waste of time. Haha. If you were just after more scores to choose from vs what John Williams already provided, that's different. I thought you were just after something that was more blood pumping.

I was looking for something more episodic, moving with cinematic orchestral themes. John Williams is also very good, but I also liked Two Steps from Hell. If you recall the Star Trek 2009, one of the trailer's featured music by them from the track Freedom Fighters. I played with Oil Rig, the track I mentioned earlier and it was fantastic for what I wanted.
- Nice man. I'm not into Star Trek at all... But I'm down with just about any instrumentak track, score, composer. I used to buy a lot of them on CD in the 90's. Danny Elfman is one of my favs, but he is very unique... And odd. Not at all what you'd be after for space battles I'm sure.

He is very good too, Danny Elfman I mean with Bryan Tyler and Avengers soundtrack or the Spiderman soundtracks. If you have time, as I mentioned Oil Rig from Man of Steel is good as well as Two Steps from Hell. Bear McCreary also has some really epic tracks from the Battlestar Galactica Re-Imagined series.
