Is coop not free anymore for star wars battlefront II?

I recently discovered that the system will not allow me to play coop without Playstation plus. Is this the case now that this game is free on Playstation +? This is very unusual because I can play co...

    You’ve always needed a PS+ subscription to play co op. It’s online and it uses matchmaking to find people to play with.

    But you can also play co op offline, so is that maybe what you were asking?

i don’t have ps plus and I’m able to play coop and supremacy before. Now it’s hindering me to do so without ps plus. But to answer you’re question, maybe?
