Is The Resistance just bad?
I don't have nearly as much trouble trying to win with any other faction. Sure the Empire is overall better than the Rebellion, but the First Order is so FAR superior that I don't think the Resistance really has a fair chance, especially on the Defend objectives. From troops like the Flametrooper and Sith Trooper to Heroes like Kylo Ren and The Emperor, vs. Resistance heroes like Rey or Chewbacca, I don't think the Resistance is realistically balanced with the First Order to make gameplay between the two actually fun.
It doesn't help that the Spy's scanner Orbital Strike only seems to function on the Takodana - Maz's Castle Map, maybe it works on the Jakku Graveyard but I couldn't get it to (I would suggest turning his scanner''s alt-fire into an explosive device for maps where Orbital Strike doesn't work). Out of every single reinforcement (and heroes) the only one worth anything is the Ovissian Gunner. As far as I know, this has basically been an issue since Day1, and it hasn't ever been addressed, and I know that Heroes won't be getting any changes now, but I hope future patches will nerf the FO or buff the Resistance.
