Is there a Benchmark tool available for the Frostbite engine?

I am randomly having issues with Battlefront II crashing. I just used DDU to remove all drivers and then I did a clean install on the new drivers. The crashing only happens when I play Battlefront II. I hope this does it but I want to do some benchmark testing and compare it to other Benchmarks if it is possible.

  • Hey @DarthClippy ,

I used a bench marking tool to determine capability but never while the games are on.  I have also made sure the drain on the system is very low when playing. This game is just huge.  Even with a very fast I-7 and 32MB ram, a hard drive just for the game. If things are running in the background, or when/if someone starts streaming on the internet, can cause a freeze and drop of the connection. Try UserBenchMark.exe.  Free and compares you to all kinds of computers and will tell you how you rank. GLHF

  • You could use 3DMark. Its a well known tool and you can try it for free (it benchmarks your pc with time spy if I’m not mistaken). When the benchmark is finished, you get a score and you can compare it to other benchmarks. Its very detailed, so I recommend you try it out. Btw, Its not specific for the frostbite engine. I dont think there is a benchmark tool specific for the frostbite engine.

    Good luck!
