@RAGNOROKERit's unfun because of the overpowered rebel and resistance factions, the lightside heroes and their reinforcements are OP as hell. If you compare the matches closely for the Republic and CIS...You can tell they spend a lot of time designing these 2 factions and balancing them out pretty good.
There are many inbalances with the rebels and resistance units from the basic classes all the way up to their reinforcements and heroes which were part of unnecessary tweaks done for unit roles that were more defensive/offensive and vise versa.
For example...Leia was more like the Director Krennic of Battlefront 2015 which was a defensive character...Now it has become a buffed sniper, able to lobby grenades more than 100m, super overpowered for CQC with that E-11 that's insta kill for infantry, and lethal to opposing heroes. Again, unnecessary tweaks that ended up screwing up the game.
Next, we move to the overpowered abilities of each lightside hero, exept Finn, but he is still a bit too strong. All rebel lightsaber abilities (not main attack) are insta killing while all Darkside abilities take 2 tries to be lethal...That's the one big inbalance issue for Galatic Assault.
Next theres a huge imbalance with the ADS, weapons fire, aiming without the scope, etc. Damage values are all over the place with these rebel and resistance factions when it comes to damage done and damage intake.
For example, and Imperial soldier starts experiencing recoil in all the weapons before overheating across all classes, rebels and resistance don't have this issue. All the rebel classes are able to kill your unit fast with pinpoint precision and barely experience weapons recoil👈 That right there is another inbalance.
On the other hand we go for reinforcements, especially rebel & resistance aerials that basically are buffed fliers/snipers. Usually this problem is seen more often during the crappy instant spawn/cheap reinforcement weekly perks.
Last for all, the bottleneck maps...
