Many people have wanted matchmaking, as matches are too often one-sided (i.e. all the good people on one team). It's this implementation of matchmaking that people do not want.
I can't imagine why anyone would want this horrible match-wrecking nonsense. I would much rather have a server browser so players can actually see where everyone is and join actual matches instead of this current trash. Tonight, a full server of Ewok Hunt got reduced to 3 players because of this garbage.

Yay rant time. EOR MM still sucks. All the quality suggestions on here about how to help the situation, even temporarily to improve the experience while they get it working are seemingly being ignored. Meanwhile it seems devs bang their heads against this brick wall of an issue they can't seem to make work. Implement a system like SWBF1, I recall that system as being ok from my experience. IMO the suggestion to switch off auto EOR MM and allow players to press for MM is as good as any and surely not too complicated to implement as well as a team scramble. Come on EA, I just want to be able to play the game, I mean at least jazz up the boring loading screens if your going to make me sit in so f**kin many of them.
