EA has declined to act

Are you guys also publish this? You guys are working for IGN ? And banned where? You can also sent a direct message if you prefer. 

I can just feel your pain. I invested over 2000h my-life-time in this game. I played nearly every single day and made many friends. I was so frustrated at the end because of zero action on EA side.  I was nearly banned because of bad language. This game and its developers do not contribute positively in mental health. We play EA games to relax but at the end annoy ourselves and turn into toxic trash!   

I just accepted the situation after tons of hacks and cheats over the years,  some of which were using the backdoors built in the game by developer, which can be (easily!) patched by EA with server side updates. I uninstalled the game and check the forum regularly. It seems it gets worse over time.  

Thank you EA. Your willful ignorance will never be forgotten!

You didnt get the latest memo then, huh? EA with the help of Kyber has just recently (about a week ago) pushed a huge update. The recently spreaded lobby crash hacks are gone. And they are planning to fix more loopholes and backdoors in the future:

Officially they did nothing. Anyone can make a statement about EA.

nothing works so far. they didn't do anything. tried to play today and immediately ran into hackers.

EA is extremely aware of the situation with Battlefront 2.  The Kyber information may help some players but is irrelevant to the situation.

My accounts have been banned here after disclosing my affiliations - just watch PC Gamer and Kotaku over the next few days.  It's going to be interesting to see how EA refutes this.  There are a plethora of employees that have been willing to speak with us.

tl;dr - EA's C-Suite never got over the backlash on Reddit and Micros over this game and pulled the plug years ago.  You have no idea how amazing the continued game was supposed to be.

This is the Endgame.  They will likely shut down servers before taking any meanful action - according to all my colleagues and sources.  I'm sorry to have to share this.  I love this game.

Would this also have any relation to people such as myself being banned for “cheating”?

I know for a fact I have not cheated, and yet got banned a few weeks ago, and they won’t do anything other than what seems to be an automated response. My boys and I liked to play it together online, but can’t do that now. I don’t know what avenue to take, as I’ve already tried their “help” page several times. It was useless.

I'd start asking your "boys" which one in the party was running hacks while you were playing with them and unaware.

I already know they didn’t hack. They don’t have the computer knowledge on how to hack, nor do I, honestly. I don’t think they even know how to download a file, if that is what it would take to do it. In fact, they often complain to me about people who are cheating… like seeing people change the character they’re using while standing in front of them, or flying (while not being a character that is capable). Killing them in a couple shots from long ways across the map with a gun that is not accurate enough to do that…. Etc. 

We have no desire to cheat. I know my boys well. I am 100% confident that they have not cheated either. 

As anyone here for the past few years can tell you - it is extraordinarily difficult to get banned for cheating.  It's a manual process that involves review and if you were banned you were cheating.
