Keyboard mouse support?

Since xbox series x supports some keyboards and mouse set ups, has anyone had success with it working for star wars battlefront 2?  I was going to dig out my old gaming PC stuff from storage, but if it don't work, I'm not gonna waste my time looking through totes lol

    The posts I've seen say that people have gotten it to work, but it seems a bit finnicky.

    I've personally found this game does not like when keyboard/mouse and controller are connected at the same time.
