Community AdminYep. I personally know this is a major issue that is actively being worked on. We have a quote from Criterion that indicates the milestone issue should hopefully be fixed today or tomorrow.
Community AdminI don't have a confirmation on this, but from what I've seen this is likely to be a server-side fix or a hotfix, I don't think it'll be part of regular patching. I suspect this is why it was absent from the list above.
So today is Sunday and its still not fixed. Its a hard error to fix it seems as it is sporadic in its selection of claimable and unclaimable milestones. there are many i have been unable to collect so far but some i can. e.g. i could claim the 16hfe 50 kills reward but not 25. i thought it may have something to do with me forwarding my ports so in a desparate attempt i deleted the port forwarding but no cigar.
This really is a beta level bug. Part of the issue now that this has gone on so long that if they install a previous build and players cant claim previously earned rewards there will be anarchy in the battlefront 2 gamerverse with cries of suing etc.
one way to solve this however is go back to a previous build that was working properly..................if it ever was and give the players that have suffered this major inconvenience free access to the upcoming expansion pack. Put a bandage on the wound. And stating the obvious,claiming milestones is levelling up and the whole drive of this game (purpose) is claiming these milestones (goals). The so fundamental purpose of the game is seriously, seriously flawed. i dont want my money back, i think paying 80 bucks for many hours of fun is cheap. But i do want what i paid for hopefully sooner rather than later. BF1 was awesome, i suffered no problems but BF2 has been a big mistake. i think i will stay away from BF3 if it ever is released. The outcome of this issue i think will play a major part in the interest of the next release.
David...for the first time in 10 days NEWLY acquired milestone rewards seem to be "claimable" (unlocked), BUT...what of all of the completed but still locked milestones that were achieved during the glitch? Many of these took months to achieve, but remain locked. Is the team working on a routine to re-sync and activate the claim button?
