I have the very same problem, I just spent a ton of time playing Starfighter Assault non-stop and the challenge progress is 1/5. What a waste...

Star fighter assault is the mode I dislike the most, this challenge being bugged doesn't help at all with that.

  Really? That's my favorite mode haha...as such, contrary to you, this challenge was assumed to be easy and more enjoyable for me until this stupid bug happened and wasted my playtime

Same problem on PC. Stuck at 1 tick per challenge on First Order side. I even tried only using imperial starfighters to get it to tick up, no move.

  Same problem here on PC. I have played 2 rounds of Starfighter Assault and have received 0 credit for completing those two rounds. I also only got credit for kills in one of the matches. So instead of having completed the Fighter portion of 20 kills, I have to keep playing it until I see that I have received credit for the 20 kills.

Me too, on PC have played more than 5 rounds, none have registered. No kills with either of the 3 classes have registered.

  Same for me to I've done well over five rounds in star fighter assault and none of them registered. I've also gotten a few kills with the fighter class to which none were registered either, this game is so frustrating at times.

Same here. Didn't award any credit. Also not giving my specialist trooper kills, which were a pain.

Doesn't it amaze anyone that the only math in the entire game that works consistently is how credits are subtracted? Every other calculation in the game (you know, anything supposed to benefit players) is inaccurate, inconsistent and blatantly wrong.
