Damage getting through active block is another issue.
The one I'm talking about is the total lack of it, even the animation is missing. This - and Boba's Jetpack staying in eternal cooldown, making him do a simple jump with Lt - came with the new patch for me, I've never experienced them either.
Uhhh will EA actually do anything about these issues. So many bugs and I have experienced every single thing mentioned above at least once today. The damage and force moves going through active blocks is just getting ridiculous now. No point in blocking its likely to result in unexpected things happening leading to your elimination. Almost every game I have played today has had some form of infuriating bug. Literally every hero or villain, normal troopers, vehicles its like nothing ever works consistently as it should. Left trigger abilities(I will include all abilities on the left force abilities and block/aim) bugged out today:
heavy trooper- ion torpedoes sometimes did not work, not only left sided ability but then the aim function chooses not to look through the scope sometimes and at others when looking through the scope lock on will not work until exiting the ability and re activating. Not ideal when you want to quickly destroy a turret or anytime you want them to work asap.
-grenade does not work consistently, occasionally appears to do no damage.
Bossk- sometimes star cards for dioxis grenade seem to have no effect.
Palpatine- chain lightening still not working consistently sometimes not hitting target directly in reticle but another target all together.
Maul- furious throw not dealing damage consistently, still.
Vader- Taking normal blaster fire damage through block.
-extended throw epic card occasionally not having any effect.
Bob's Fett- jet pack fails to work leaves you jumping up and down like a tw*t.
Kylo- taking normal blaster damage through active block.
- pull sometimes has a grand total of f*ck all effect, but sometimes it still does the damage(star card equipped). Yay.
Luke- taking normal blaster damage through active block.
-Force push does not work consistently and sometimes has no effect.
Yoda- Taking normal blaster damage through active block.
-Force push not working consistently and sometimes having no effect.
Rey- Taking normal blaster damage through active block.
-Dash working inconsistently. Damaging strike star card not working.
Finn- Deadeye not working consistently. Star cards seem to sometimes have no effect(all three of them for deadeye).
Where I have stated that normal blaster damage being taken through active block this includes the bug where block triggers the animation and nothing gets blocked as well as no animation at all but also includes force abilities getting through active blocks including Reys mind trick which has started finding its way through active blocks again.
This is only what I have experienced today and only for the left sided functions. There's a whole lot more if I where to list centre and right sided, not to mention some I probably forgot seeing as it's not just a couple of little minor bugs. Arghhhhh EA it's become a joke. You people making me resent myself for wanting this to work so much and keep trying, the sheer frustration and rage you create is unreal.

My favourite one yet was when Vader's choke got through my block as Rey, then the game made me locked on to Vader (there is not even a function like this in BF2) while disabling my ability to block - so all I could do is rush Vader head-on.

You can also add the rectangle bug for Lando and Finn @Tinogiggedy I also thought they fixed the rectangle of Finn like months ago, but every time I play as Finn OR Lando, those red rectangles appear on top of enemies that I have already killed. It feels very buggy. I should record that one again and post it in that old thread, just to bump it.

At times, that also works as a kind of wallhack for me. It just puts the rectangles on enemies wherever they are (while not even using any ability), so I know exactly where they are coming from.

Especially used it yesterday on Endor in the dark. It was really clear where some enemies were coming from in the second phase!
