Logitech G502 custom settings not working in-game

Product: Star Wars Battlefront II
Platform:PC
What is your issue related to? General
Summarize your bug Everytime I play Star Wars Battlefront II my colour settings of my Logitech G502 gaming mouse are turning blue instead of red (the colour I have customized my colour settings to). The DPI settings however look fine, but I am still questioning if my mouse is supported well by this game. I have not checked if my mouse buttons are all working correctly. This mouse problem started after today's patch.
What is your gamertag/PSN ID/EA Account name? Julybil
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Can you tell us the date (MM/DD/YYYY) that you saw the bug? 5-29-2018
What time did you see the bug? (HH:MM AM/PM) 10:00 PM
In what game mode did the bug occur? Heroes vs. Villains
What is your time zone? ECT - GMT + 1:00
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Use a Logitech G502 with the light settings customized (be sure not to choose blue). Go into the game and after some matches or one match of custom arcade the lights will turn blue for no reason.
What happens when the bug occurs? The lights on the mouse will turn blue after playing any game mode.
What do you expect to see? That playing the game would not alter my mouse settings for that game.
Please select your region Europe
AMD or Nvidia Model Number Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB

Additionally, my settings in the Logitech software program are not alter by this game. Only when I play this game the custom settings are just ignored by the game, when playing any game mode.

  • I've had the same issue @Julybil

All my keys turned blue constantly, while I have manually set them otherwise.

After the recent patch, it seems to be fixed (however not sure). Logitech gamesoftware again registers the game and placed the correctly lightning.

Also, it might help to switch in the logitech game software the option 'Game can control lightning' off in the settings. That way, it should work no matter what.

@DYSPROssium I think the problem has been solved by the previous patch. I did not have the problem ever since, however it can still occur some day. If I do not experience the problem anymore after a long time then I will mark this problem as solved.

    nope - still there.

I read something to the effect that logitech software has issues with EA games in general - I'm guessing all games with the Frostbite engine have the issue.  (not that I have anything against the Frostbite.)
