loot crate things

Hey folks 🙂,

Im playing the game since December 24th now and since then I constantly farmed credits and bought loot crates, but never got at least ONE purple Star Card. Is it even possible to get a purple Star Card from a crate? And how low are the chances? It feels like the chance is 1% or less, even in Hearthstone I got more legendary cards from the crates and I think they're very rare in this game also.

I was able to get blue cards from the crates, BESIDE the veteran crates, but only 1 or 2 (maybe 3 I cant say for sure), which is also very rare. At least the blue cards are not to frustrating to farm and upgrade, like the parts for the purple cards. 480! I mean come on guys, I dont wanna play this game 8 hours a day -.-..I would be really okay with 300 or something like that, but 480 is way over the top. I would be really happy, if I could farm 3(!) purple Star Cards for every class in a enjoyable time, but like this it feels like grinding way to long.

And YES I know it KIND OF should be that way, the game mechanic is desgined for feeling frustrated, so you are forced to BUY some crates, I really dont like the mechanic, but I understand it. BUT and heres my point, EVEN for the whales, who would probably spend a * of money on crates, it would took like forever to get good things from the crates.

I now have nearly every Star Card for the troopers, so mostly I get only duplicates, which means buying crates feels way less enjoyable, because I know in 99% of the cases I get only things I really dont need. I dont even feel like buying a crate (if I would be able to do so), because I know mostly theres nothing of use in it, beside the little amount of crafting parts. The crates dont give me a good feeling, which they AT LEAST should do, to motivate me on buying some crates.

I've read that you will work on the progression system until March and I really hope you will improve both things at least a little bit. Please dont be THAT greedy, I know I have to live with the mechanic, but please improve it until March.

  • You need to use crafting parts to get Epic (purple) cards.  The only time you get an Epic card in a crate is if it's a special crate like The Jedi Challenge winner crate.  You can't buy those crates.

    He is right

Since we cant buy loot boxes with real money, I am curious on why you did not re-implemented purple cards in boxes?

I mean your entire progression is based around it and frankly playing to earn enough credits to buy crates that gives me grey and greens (1 blue per week on average) which I already have (if i get the double credits back correctly).

Makes the reward system totally garbage, I'd have expected to add them but you did not. When will you do it?
