Low FPS Star Wars Battlefront 2

I just downloaded Star Wars Battlefront 2 but the frames per second are very low. Even in the menu. I've tried lowering the graphics and all that but no improvement. I haven't even started a game yet I've just been trying to get it to the point that it's playable. I have a feeling my laptop just isn't powerful enough to run this game but I've been hoping that isn't the case. I have a laptop Acer Aspire 15.

I wasn't even able to get the game to load until I jacked up the graphic driver. Also I have Repaired it. Nothing I've tried has worked.

    A few things can help.

    Run Fullscreen.

Try setting motion blur to 0.

Also, Shadow Quality and Post Processing tend to be taxing on a system to try setting Shadow Quality to Medium or Low and Post Processing to Medium or Low.  Of course, you can try lowering the other settings as well.

Good Luck, it's a fun game.

I've just tried all of theses things. All of my settings are either on low or off, and nothing seems to be improving. I'm still on about 1 FPS, any more tips?

Same things happening to me. Im getting like 1fps in campaign and game crashes playing that heroes mode. I downloaded the trail off of origin 2 days ago. The single player tutorial/ challenge mode runs perfectly but anything else is unplayable. I lowered all the settings and it makes zero difference. I have an i7 7700, geforce gtx 1070, and 8gb ram. I also have a toshiba dt01aca100 hard drive( i know its terrible) which used to run at 100% disk usage playing mankind divided on ultra but after moving things off of it and keeping it below 30% capacity its been working fine. But its been acting up pretty terribly when it comes to battlefront 2

  • Try disabling directX12. Fixed my fps perfectly. I never had fps drops until a few updates ago, and then suddenly my game was completely unplayable, not sure what changed but disabling dx12 fixed my problem.
