Low FPS with 1070 Ti
If your CPU bottlenecks at 100% suddenly, try this:
1.) Check in your bios the temperature and GHz/MHz of your CPU
1.1) Check CPU GHz/MHz also in CPUZ (each core should go full 3.2-3.6 or 4.2GHz, depending on what you have)
Found an error? Locked at 800MHz? Any sensor reporting wrong temp?
2.) Try download: throttle stop (shows temp and each core speed)
------------------------------------------OWN RISK FROM HERE
------------------------------------------Disable (uncheck): BD PROCHOT
run Battlefront 2, but keep an eye on the temperature of your system, espc. your CPU temp.
Note: PROCessor HOT is the flag set, wenn sensor reports CPU to be at about 100 degree C.Tip: Mine go as high as 55 on ULTRA, I use MSI Afterburner with Riva. Riva will allow you to lock the fps to what you need (60 or 144). Helps to avoid uneccesairy higher fps (more load on cpu and gpu) and keeps the system quiet and cool.
