so lucas film and George lucas along with other high up lucas film employees are trying to erase what kathleen has done to Star wars. ive read multiple news articals and have seen multiple youtube video's supporting this.... im so happy the Sequal trilagy is nothing more than a very bad fan fiction written by a 2 year old. and now there gonna be wiped from the galaxy.oh sorry for the misspell's its late and im tired. but for us true SW fans may the force be with you and the force will soon be back into balance.... long live George Lucas and star wars episode 1-6 the clone wars and rebels, rogue one and the mandolarian.

"Proof" ...oh my god youre really believing this?? This is just sad....even if the sequels arent that great, i still want them to STAY! why?? Because i DONT want Star Wars to become a * up franchise like DC, Doctor Who, Star Trek or Marvel, with 40 different "interpretations", "reimaginations", 20 different characters that are always the same (20 different Jokers...) , nobody knows what the * is still canon, nobody knows whats real anymore and fans being seperated into different fractions (comic fans, movie, fans, animated show fans, book-fans, alternate reality fans, crossover fans etc!!!)Star Wars has a CLEAR timeline that should NOT cause any conflicts!! I dont want 10 different post-ep6-storys to chose from, i want ONE clear story!

So...1. I think it sets a bad precedent to sell tickets to something, a new trilogy in the Star Wars saga, just to wipe it from canon less than a year after its conclusion. Especially because they weren't bad movies to any extent - the overall quality was higher than some other movies in the franchise, the first two were well-received critically and all made a looottt of money and I imagine are all on the list of highest grossing movies of all time. I think removing something from canon based on the subjective feelings of an over-passionate fanbase who no longer see any of the movies objectively and may not represent the wider audience would be a huge mistake. After some aspects of The Last Jedi and quite a lot of The Rise of Skywalker had a sense of being included for the purposes of appeasing the internet, I don't want fans to have so much control over the direction and the canon of the franchise whatsoever. I say that having been a Star Wars fan for around 25+ years.2. Movies, especially franchises like Star Wars, are the product of many, many people, not only one. A producer has some control over the eventual product, but so do many other people working on the movie. It's impossible to blame one person for an aspect of a movie you didn't like when in reality, there is no guarantee that person was involved. Kathleen Kennedy has an impressive record as a producer and has worked on many of the best movies of all time, and she's been awarded for her work. She's very talented. That doesn't guarantee she didn't make mistakes working with Star Wars, but I think singling her out as the one person responsible for the perceived failures of a trilogy worked on by hundreds is not only impossible but very wrong imo.3. YouTube videos are not news (unless they come from official sources, and even then... ehhhh it depends on the source). YouTube videos are not reliable sources of information. Tbh, I've met quite a few people now who have used YouTube videos posted by random strangers on the internet as sources and every one of them has been misled and led to believe things about other people that really aren't true. Anyone can theoretically post any opinion on YouTube and claim it's factual, no matter how untrue it really is. They will never be held accountable like real news sources and never be fact checked because the people watching their videos will already agree with what they say because of the recommendation algorithms. YouTube is filled with people who make videos airing their grievances and opinions no matter how false and people just seem to... absorb everything without viewing things critically or fact checking. Too many people seem to think, "I want it to be true, therefore it must be true" and YouTube rewards that way of thinking. YouTube is definitely not a reliable source of information and never will be.

I don’t like communism, but that doesn’t necessarily make things about it bad. There is no “proof” of an opinion. The sequels made a lot of money, some liked them, some hated them, and critic reviews were fairly neutral about them. So one can’t say they “tanked” or that they suck.

all i was trying to do is let people know that lucas film, george lucas, dave foloni, and other don't like the sequal trilogy. along with many fans. theres proof that the movies tanked and they suck. there are many many news articles stating that they are going to do something. so stop being a butthead and let people voice there opinions and fact.
