hi. still having issues mainly 100% cpu spikes. ive uploaded a dxdiag. Im no longer getting stutters which is improved but the FPS does suffer on the galactic assault maps (25fps). most operation maps that i know of work well (60fps) because not a lot is loaded. it seems the shader cache or something similar is broken with this game especially NVIDIA since it has to reload the shaders every time and reload the objects constantly.
i shouldnt be getting bad performance. I understand my cpu is quite old but it is more than capable of running this game on high settings (or it should do with game optimisation).
will you be looking into this? will you be looking to help solve this issue?
thanks
Hey @BailsBach,
When you are playing the game is anything else using the CPU power, also are you playing on DX12?
While the minimum requirements are 8gig of ram for the game itself, is anything else using ram at the same time? If there are programs that are that you have the options to turn off I would recommend it.

I only have Discord, ShareX and f.lux running in the background while I play the game, that's around 122MB usage.
Closing them wouldn't make a difference anyway, the problem is the game memory usage constantly going up as I play and at some point saturating my ram (after ~1hour of galactic assault).
It's like the game doesn't unload the memory from previous maps.

I'm having the same problems as you guys, and no end in sight... It's so strange that starfighter works perfectly, but campaign and some other maps lag like crazy...
Has any solution been put forth ? (Apart from the "fixes" presented on the start of the post)
Thanks!

I was able to play the campaign now, but have the same problem I'm getting in multiplayer. Works fine on the first 2-3 missions after starting the game, but if I continue playing I start getting freezes which force me to restart the game because it's barely playable.
What I've tried so far:
Updating drivers
Increasing virtual memory
Deleting nvidia shader cache
Disabling nvidia shader cache
Closing every single background application

@FuZ38- Hi.
Run task manager (ctrl+shift+esc) and check if anything besides the game is using large amounts of memory. Also run a Full Virus check. Malware can cause the same issue. I would also disable Discord as it has been known to cause problems with some games whilst running in the background.

I fixed my choppy issues by enabling vsync in game not sure if that will help you.
