Hi
I also have this issue.
When Battlefront II was in beta I was afraid my pc wouldn't be able to hack it, miraculously, it did. I bought and started playing BF2 around a month ago now and thoroughly enjoy it. Unfortunately after the first mission (I mainly play galactic assault) my game was stuttering and being extremely choppy even at high fps. I read a few fixes on forums which mentioned deleting shader cache's and disabling them through the nvidia application. After doing so I no longer received disgusting disappointing non-playable high fps stutters in my FIRST FEW MISSIONS.
I have to stress, the issue IS still there.
Fixes
(for me)
- Deleting NV cache
- Disabling shaders in NVIDIA application settings
- Restarting game every few missions (first mission is issue free)
AMD FX8320
GTX STRIX 970
DDR3 1600 KINGSTON 8GB
SAMSUNG EVO 500GB SSD
I also have ridiculous load times on the initial start up to the game, even with ssd.
pls help ea.
@Sh1nii_Twitch, I have the exactly same issue, high FPS with heavy stuttering, are you getting support from EA Help ?

I'm not asking EA for any help atm.
It seems like a problem throughout the whole community.
EA just havent perfected their optimisation and performance for this game.. I don't know what to do to fix it other than what I've done and restart my game every few missions. ☹️
If I find a way to fix it I'll reply to you- vice versa?
- 7 years ago@Sh1nii_Twitch I'm going over with EA (not) Help...So I'll let you know if anything happens.

Hey dude, I fixed my issue by getting new ram for christmas. Try reseating your ram onto the other two slots and updating to the most recent nvidia driver!
