I'm going to try and watch the last episodes in a row
But I doubt that will happen
I rewatched last week's episode. Did anyone else notice how much of Ahsoka's choreography was just like her action sequences in Clone Wars and Rebels? It hit me when she leaped over the outer wall with one arm on the wall and a leg kicked back. It was just like how she often did that in Clone Wars. There were a few other scenes too. When she lights up her lightsabers behind the trooper was a lot like how she did in Rebels when facing the two Inquisitors. The sound of her lightsabers are exactly like in Rebels too. I thought these were nice touches.

Kind of hard to miss. So much about the live action version of Ahsoka is reminiscent of her Clone Wars version.
(To the point it doesn't sit well with me.)
Regardless, I can't wait for tomorrow's episode. It can't arrive fast enough.(December is the worst month & I desperately need all the distractions I can get.) - 5 years ago
Tonight's episode is supposed to be the shortest
I'm going to wait and watch it with next week's episode

Well, I guess we can now confirm that Jango Fett was Mandalorian. The Mandalorian Government was probablly just trying to seperate themselves from him because he was either a bounty hunter or because he is possibly a child of the way(im not sure if thats what it was implying when it said he was foundling). And so they lied to Obi-Wan.
We also now know that he does in fact have Jango's armour. Though either he got a new helmet or there is just a continuity error. - 5 years ago
The episode was really good, but from a story point of veiw not much actually progressed. Because of this i'm willing to bet that the next episode will be him forming a crew. The last one will be them attacking the empire, and both thrawn and the jedi will just be breifly shown at the end and won't do anything untill next season.

@SwellingFoil266Yeah it seems Jango was a foundling. If what Bo Katan says is true, then Jango would not have had any real dealings with Mandalore. He would basically be a "child of the Watch" just like Din Djarin. So in that regard, Mandalore might not officially recognize him during the Clone Wars.
Also, lets not forget it was Almec who told Obi-Wan that about Jango. Not exactly the most reliable of sources lol. - 5 years ago@SwellingFoil266 The episode was outstanding. I disagree that things didn't progress.
- We got an immediate resolution to the Boba Fett thread, as well as Fennec Shand from Season 1.
- They get right to Tython and Grogu contacts whoever is out there.
- Dark Troopers spring into action
- Empire gets it's hands on Grogu with two episodes left rather than the final episode as a cliff hanger for season 3.
I do think he's getting a crew together here, but seriously...how cool is this?!?! Mando...Boba Fett...Fennec Shand...Cara Dune...Mayfield...maybe Ahsoka? I'm geeking out right now lol - 5 years ago
Here’s my one-sentence spoiler-free review of Chapter 14, “The Tragedy
of Darth Plagueis the Wise”...DUDE THIS EPISODE
- 5 years ago
No-context, related to the latest episode. (Please don’t remove this.)
Chapter 14: The Tragedy
I was excited when the ship flew in.Then the character said the line.
Then he shows us why he’s the best at what he does.
He also gets to wear something while looking cool in combat.
Then a ship blows up 😳
Then four troopers take something 😶
Then the thing does stuff 😮
Then something happens to it 😦
Try to guess all these😉

@FearfulWarpIIlol nice. And on the subject of spoilers, the thread is tagged open spoilers in the title. So dont worry about open discussion about Mandalorian. Myself and others have been tagging content from other shows like Rebels as spoilers just in case. There's definitely people commenting in here that haven't see Rebels.

Loved this episode!
From the second Slave One flew in it was just pure awesomeness!
The Darktroopers looked phenomenal!
We even got some early versions of the First Order Transporter.
Rest in pieces Razor Crest. 😢

Did anyone else get chills when he was talking about how he would have to leave Grogu and then it just starts blasting the theme with the words The Tragedy across the screen. cuz i seriously felt that.
When i saw the Slave One, I may or may not have (loudly) proclaimed, “Oh look it’s Boba Fett”.
(I watched with some of my comrades, so they were less than pleased with my proclamation)
Also the Dark Troopers were amazing
@SuperSpyUUDark Troopers were awesome indeed. Saw a theory on Youtube that they could be made of Beskar. It would make sense given Moff Gideon's ties to what happened on Mandalore. The container of Beskar they offered for Grogu could mean they have a large stash of it.
So the Dark Troopers would basically become the counter to Mandalorians.
- 5 years ago@SwellingFoil266 Yeah I felt it. I think the attachment is real and it's both ways. I'm sure we haven't seen the last of that this season.

Well, this episode just showed us a Boba skin we'll never get in BF2. Precious Battlefield 6 has really deprived BF2 of some decent Mando content. Not a good way to complete a vision.
I will say I actually enjoyed this episode more than the other one's
Shame it was short and would of liked more interaction between mando and boba
How in the rude word🤫
Can Mando not even know who he is
Don't give me that rubbish that he surely wouldn't know
- 5 years ago@UNL1M1T3D_P0W3R The skin woulda been cool but think if they would have given us a Boba Fett that
1. Could take more than one hit.
2. Didn't run away because of 1.
This episode is a perfect example of that.
The boba we have to me is near useless (I know some people are good with him but I personally struggle.) - 5 years ago
@UNL1M1T3D_P0W3RNo doubt they goofed up here badly, and I think they are very well aware of it. If Battlefield 6 doesn't deliver, they are going to have serious egg on their face...again.
I think support was pulled some time in fall 2019 likely before Mandalorian even aired on Disney+. I think the evidence of that is in how incomplete Supremacy was for ST and OT compared to PT, and the clearly recycled assets for OT reinforcements. Not making excuses for them. Either way they pulled support at the first opportunity after the team turned the game around. They didn't give DICE a chance to see where they could go with the success. But I definitely have a feeling they wish they could get a do over here.
- 5 years ago@SwellingFoil266 Because he can fly he'd be too OP if he could take heaps of damage.
The only thing I don't like about Boba in BF2 is his flying feels a bit slow/should be a bit faster like it used to, and his rockets not firing as many rockets as it used to. I still find him good and enjoyable, but he used to be better. - 5 years ago@ArchAngeL-PCX I'm sure BF6 will look and run good, but it'll just be another Battlefield game with the same formula that'll be rushed at release and have its content stretched out for too long until it's abandoned because its EA's child. Will never bother with another Battlefield game again.
Yeah ST Supremacy needed at least Starkiller Base, and OT Supremacy needed ship phases. That's why PT Supremacy is really the only good one. And Rebels needed a proper Armor and Infiltrator. Probably would've happened if it weren't for precious BF6 (I know Covid didn't help either).
Ah well, BF2 still has a lot to offer and is better than not having it at all, and infinitely better than BF2015. Could be a long time before another Battlefront comes around. - 5 years ago@SuperSpyUU They saw Slave One, and couldn't figure out it was Boba Fett on their own?
If much like the mythical "Man Card" there's a "Star Wars Card", they just lost their's. - 5 years ago@ToddyRocket1 Really good episode, what a completed vision should look like. I hope the last 2 eps are just raw action. Glad they're getting the Mayfield character back as Bill Burr was awesome in S1, even if he was only in 1 ep
- 5 years ago@UNL1M1T3D_P0W3R Eh, I didn’t really like any characters in that episode, to be honest. They were all kind of annoying, and I don’t really want The Prisoner 2: Electric Boogaloo.
- 5 years ago@Commander_Ney0 ... Please leave
- 5 years ago
That episode to me was the best out of all of them
Finally showing why Boba Fett was the most feared bounty hunter in the galaxy
