Considering he's a bounty hunter you think he would have heard of the best there is plus he claims hes spent a lot of time on Tatooine plus im sure people would have brought it up when seeing that he is a mandalorian at some point. (I know Boba Fetts not mandalorian but the hypothetical random civillians don't)

@SwellingFoil266Could be. It may depend on how old Din actually is and where he was operating. The group he belonged to seemed to be very isolated, and I don't think he cares about the profession itself. I think it's just him doing whatever he can to support the covert. He also didn't recognize Bo Katan, who ruled Mandalore and was a central figure on Mandalore up through "the purge".
