The noise of the seismic charge

So.....mandlore was destroyed by operation: cinder?
thats what i got at least - 5 years ago@SwellingFoil266 No I don't think it was destroyed in Operation: Cinder. While speaking with Bo Katan, Din talked about Mandalore being poisoned. They haven't said what "the purge" actually was, but Bo Katan said she fought in it. That seems to infer a campaign or more traditional conflict. I guess it could be their own name for what Operation Cinder was, but it didn't sound like it to me.

When Din talked about Mandalore being poisoned, he may have been referring to how he viewed the situation based on his ties to the Watch.
In a Bounty Hunting handbook addressed to Boba(Not canon? I'm not sure.)The leader of the Deathwatch cult at that time had written about how Mandalore was being destroyed by its own people. It was kind of a cultural divergence. That DeathWatch were - in their own opinion - the salvation of a dying society based on specific ' ' ancient values.' ' (Jango goes out of his way to write-in excerpts claiming that the Visla character - ' 'writer' ' of this stuff was occasionally lying/was a liar/Jango killed him. )
If the Children of the Watch are the next generation of the Death Watch with revised policies & goals then it makes sense they'd continue to inform their charges that Mandalore was decaying from within due to traditions being abandoned.
Sabine Wren (Of Mandalore..?) ended up making weapons for The Empire that would specifically harm wearers within Beskar armor, but then she turned to the Rebels, and I think as a result, conflicts between the Empire and Mandalore intensified, Wren managed to reverse the destructive weapons' attention to target Storm Trooper armor...Which I think was made out of Durasteel...? Which sounds like it'd be a bad idea to do because EVERYTHING is Durasteel so ...?? 0_o;;
I'm not sure what happens after that, but the events that occur from beyond this point seem to stem from actions that go against what may or may not be potential goals for specific clans vying for political power... Which is indicated by Din's choice of words. Imo.

Anyways... I think Operation Cinder was just an Easter Egg to reference the Story Mode of SWBF 2 2017 (EA). Maybe it isn't directly related to Din's story/ other than the fact that Din has 'May around at that point, who is expressing his own background story.
'May serves as a cautionary example of ' 'why the Empire sucks.' ' - from an Imperial's perspective. 'May revealing this part of his past provides insight for Din (& the audience) to acknowledge that the Empire are villains 100%. - 5 years ago
Random thought
When 'May & Din were passing through the local impoverished village & Din looked into the eyes of one of the locals & fixated on them.
It reminded me... Jacen Syndulla might be a potential force Sensitive to answer Grogu's call?(I was trying to forget he existed.)Luke states, I'm a Jedi, like my father before me.
I'm not sure if force sensitivity can be passed down... but if it can, then...
Jacen Syndulla might become force sensitive - since his father was a Jedi. - 5 years ago@ToddyRocket1 Seismic charges make me go, “yes”

Seismic charge for the win! Also I thought it was cool how they showed the inside of slave 1 rotate as they took off. I've always wondered about that lol, like I thought maybe he would be laying down when the ship was on the ground haha

Definitely agree with everyone one seismic charges. Unlike the ST, this show knows how to do it right. They seem to understand the difference between "fan service" and simply doing what is right by the fans. Fans waited 40 years to see the OT cast on screen together again, and the ST passed on it. Could have been the biggest theatrical win of all time, and imo cast a shadow over the trilogy from the start.
This is something Lucas understood as well. When Clone Wars brought back Darth Maul, a lot of people (including myself) initially thought it was cheesy fan service. But it turned out to be a well done, excellently crafted plan and one of the best storylines in Star Wars. It was simply doing something right by the fans. And now we Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau continuing that with Boba Fett, Ahsoka, and even Bo Katan.

So sad season 2 comes to an end tomorrow. I've loved the entire season so far.
- 5 years ago@ToddyRocket1 Yeah of the 3 I could see that. I do think they choreographed her moves well and I like the casting choice.
But being able to use Katee Sackhoff as a live action Bo Katan after having voiced her for years in Clone Wars and Rebels is pure gold. Same for Temuera Morrison as Boba Fett. It couldn't have come together better if they sat down and planned this a decade ago. lol - 5 years ago

Yes, it seems as though, Disney's choice to release episodes based on an older timed schedule (as opposed to a more modern approach of uploading everything via binge format) stretched the lifespan & relevancy of the show.
Initially, I was upset that I wouldn't be able to watch it all in one sitting...But I understand that's because I may be somewhat spoiled by the luxuries I've enjoyed in the absence of (set) program / pacing...
In the end, I'm fairly satisfied with being granted the time to consolidate the Mandalorian show and it's contents/information.
Similarly, I wanted to give responses about the show at a slower pace. To respond rather than to react. (A part of why I'm choosing to talk about the show/s with others over forums instead of instant messenger apps.)
After the unexpected twists presented in the previous episode, I'm wondering how the season finale is going to wrap up...I don't even have any predictions for it...

@DvveeboI agree with everything you said. I'm glad Disney went with the traditional weekly episode format. It does let you enjoy it more, talk about it, and build anticipation for what is coming next. So much better than binging it day one, then having to wait a whole year for more lol.
I noticed Amazon switched Expanse to a weekly format starting this season. They aired the first 3 episodes day one with the rest coming out weekly. Seems they've noticed the benefit of stretching the content out longer. CBS All Access has been airing their Star Trek shows weekly as well.

Wow is all I have to say after that episode!
Soo cool! Also there is a scene after the credits. 😉

- 5 years ago@ToddyRocket1 yeah honestly the end credits made the rest of the episode kinda feel lame in comparison. (It was still really good though).

My only real thought is why didn't they bring ahsoka?
that just seems so obvious. Shes clearly the most powerful person he has met.
Granted that would have made the episode about 30 minutes shorter but still.
So. The book of boba fett. Im cool with another book but I feel that a show would obivously be much cooler considering how little he was actually used in this one. (besides the tragedy)
Or is it a show called the book of boba fett and i misunderstood?
EDIT: the internet is making it sound like a show so im gonna go with that. - 5 years ago
It also feels strange that they left the matter of the darksaber unresolved. It will be interesting to see what happens, although I don't really want Din leading Mandalore.

Season 3 is already getting ready for production - 5 years ago@SwellingFoil266
The most powerful person he has met now is luke
I'm not a fan of Ashoka but she will have a part definitely in the next series - 5 years ago
@ToddyRocket1If they would have waited just a few hours luke would now be the ruler of mandalore considering he would have saved grogu anyway
The way he just crushed that one though. - 5 years ago@SwellingFoil266
Plus the end credits let's us delve deeper in the underworld scum in the Starwars universe
Remember this is in part bounty hunters and general people trying to fit in this galaxy
