Mandalorian discussion[SPOILERS]

This will be a discussion thread for The Mandalorian. Just for thoughts and predictions on the show, and stuff. If you want to talk about how cute Baby Yoda is, go ahead, if you want to talk about how pissed Temura Morrison looked when Boba Fett saw the Mandalorian with his armor, fine.

    @UNL1M1T3D_P0W3R The skin woulda been cool but think if they would have given us a Boba Fett that
    1. Could take more than one hit.
    2. Didn't run away because of 1.

    This episode is a perfect example of that.
    The boba we have to me is near useless (I know some people are good with him but I personally struggle.)

    @UNL1M1T3D_P0W3RNo doubt they goofed up here badly, and I think they are very well aware of it. If Battlefield 6 doesn't deliver, they are going to have serious egg on their face...again.

    I think support was pulled some time in fall 2019 likely before Mandalorian even aired on Disney+. I think the evidence of that is in how incomplete Supremacy was for ST and OT compared to PT, and the clearly recycled assets for OT reinforcements.

    Not making excuses for them. Either way they pulled support at the first opportunity after the team turned the game around. They didn't give DICE a chance to see where they could go with the success. But I definitely have a feeling they wish they could get a do over here.

    @SwellingFoil266 Because he can fly he'd be too OP if he could take heaps of damage.

    The only thing I don't like about Boba in BF2 is his flying feels a bit slow/should be a bit faster like it used to, and his rockets not firing as many rockets as it used to. I still find him good and enjoyable, but he used to be better.

    @ArchAngeL-PCX I'm sure BF6 will look and run good, but it'll just be another Battlefield game with the same formula that'll be rushed at release and have its content stretched out for too long until it's abandoned because its EA's child. Will never bother with another Battlefield game again.

    Yeah ST Supremacy needed at least Starkiller Base, and OT Supremacy needed ship phases. That's why PT Supremacy is really the only good one. And Rebels needed a proper Armor and Infiltrator. Probably would've happened if it weren't for precious BF6 (I know Covid didn't help either).

    Ah well, BF2 still has a lot to offer and is better than not having it at all, and infinitely better than BF2015. Could be a long time before another Battlefront comes around.

    @SuperSpyUU They saw Slave One, and couldn't figure out it was Boba Fett on their own?

    If much like the mythical "Man Card" there's a "Star Wars Card", they just lost their's.

    @ToddyRocket1 Really good episode, what a completed vision should look like. I hope the last 2 eps are just raw action. Glad they're getting the Mayfield character back as Bill Burr was awesome in S1, even if he was only in 1 ep

    @UNL1M1T3D_P0W3R Eh, I didn’t really like any characters in that episode, to be honest. They were all kind of annoying, and I don’t really want The Prisoner 2: Electric Boogaloo.

    That episode to me was the best out of all of them

    Finally showing why Boba Fett was the most feared bounty hunter in the galaxy

    @ToddyRocket1 I agree. It was great to see him validated, although Clone Wars gave him some great action sequences as well. See the Episode "Bounty" in Season 4. But that's before the armor, and an episode like this was definitely needed.

    Apparently people on Reddit have translated much of what Boba Fett showed Din Djarin. Among the words are Concord Dawn and Jastor (likely Jastor Mereel from Legends). Basically, in Legends material Jango's family lived on Concord Dawn and was killed. Jastor took him in. So maybe they are adapting that into canon with Jastor Mereel being the one who adapts Jango as a foundling. And maybe Jango will either be from Concord Dawn, or that's where he was raised as a foundling.
