I've been experiencing this a lot as well. It first occurred on Death Star II and then later on Kamino. As far as I am aware of, the user has no control of the glitch and can't actually abuse it. People have been experiencing it since the latest update on PC at least. I did notice it's happening on Xbox and I imagine on PS4 too.
