Whenever I usually first boot up star wars the first matches I will be dealing with little frame skips every second or so. Despite having 90 FPS I heavily notice the frame skips which makes the game extremely un-smooth. This problem will usually go away after a few restarts. Any idea what causes these frame skips?
How is this different from the lag/rubberbanding that's been reported a gazillion times?
It's not connection lag or server lag. I'm not rubberbanding, just whenever I play I notice a frame or two will skip while I'm maintaining a constant 60fps. Frame lag is different than connection/server lag.
got it. just making sure - vastly different levels of people in the forums.
While I'm not noticing this myself, maybe I'm not looking closely enough. What's a tell-tale that its happening?
You have DX12 turned off?
