Solved

Mouse and Keyboard problem:

So I have just been playing with my friend and sometimes my keyboard and mouse doesnt respond during my gameplay.
At sometime it responds then all of a sudden, it just stops responding again. I tried multiple solutions and wondering if
you can help me with this?

Username of Origin: Yoappian
Friend that I have been playing with: Xx_JETTIE_xX

Thank you! :D

EDIT: This looks like it is only happening on Multiplayer. The movement of my control's input freezes from time to time. Please ... is there any fix to this problem?

  • @Yoappian Theoretically, the ping site should be the location closest to you. The ping is shown next to the ping site in the battlefront II menu under Options>EA account>server. Scroll through the options and select the one with the lowest ping. (This is supposed to be a default, but it sometimes messes up.)

  • @Yoappian  Hey,

    Have you tried to turn off Discord overlay, Origin in-game overlay and any other overlays as well?

    @IIPrest0nIIHi,

    All my overlays are off. Origin in-game is off + Steam overlay + Discord In-Game overlay. I think I uninstalled Teamspeak. @IIPrest0nII But I will double check if everything is off. But it isn't just my keyboard and mouse. I just tried with my PS3 and Xbox 1 Controllers and still the controls are not responding for a short periods of time. after 6 or more minutes. Controls responds and immediatlely stops! Any ways to fix this bug?

    @harmless7567 Sadly it didnt. I have no idea if it could be my connection. Cause everytime I move. I freeze while there is a battle going on (like standing in place, but frozen and braindead) but some time to time. im able to move again (like walking & aiming + shooting. but only short periods of time) I need to fix this... Please!
  • @Yoappian Last time something like that happened to me it was my internet connection. (I also only had 8gb of RAM, I upgraded this to 16gb and have not had the problem as much, but when I froze it crashed the game, so this doesn't sound like your problem.) You can run a speed test here: speedtest.net You can also check your ping under options>EA account. If you have 5+mbps download/upload speed and a ping under 60 you shouldn't have any problems. You could try playing on a different (faster) network if that is not the case and it is possible, doing this would eliminate the potential of the problem being your internet connection. Also, while you are checking the ping, make sure your server is the one with the lowest. Sometimes EA does wacky stuff with servers and you end up connected to servers in other countries. Hope this helps, if not maybe @Straatford87 or someone on staff can help.

    @harmless7567 It just doesn't make sense. The other day, when I was playing with @SirJettie I was having no issue... ((Only a little freezing in place.)) So I could play that. But now I am continuously standing in place *While* the battle is going on with other players. If you can tell me where to change my reigion and ping to get to other servers that has a lower ping. I would appriciate it!
