Hey @PFC_Jackson_1944,
thank you for the feedback, it's great to hear you were able to get rid of the error message in the end by performing a reinstall. Did you by any chance delete the local settings files as well?
Based on that, could you try to turn off the cloud sync in Origin by selecting "Origin -> Application Settings -> Installs & Saves" and turn off the Cloud Storage, @MrLonestarBarf?
Then move the folder "STAR WARS Battlefront II\settings" within your user folder to the desktop and try to launch the game again. It will affect your local settings and probably campaign progress, but your multiplayer progress will remain untouched.
Let us know what the outcome is, I hope it'll help.

@EA_Joker I appreciate the advice attempt, I completed this to no avail, starts to load game and then disconnects.

Hi @EA_Joker, I never got an error message, I just could not get into any multiplayer game (except for Starfighter Assault) without getting dumped back to the main menu of the game. There was never an error message when this happened. I just simply uninstalled / re-installed.

Lucky re-install. seriously its hit or miss, I actually got into a game, got running, and then disconnected. Its very random who it affects like crazy, but it sure has a strong base of players its affecting. I would be extremely curious to see what a patch rollback would do for players, at leaste until they get everything worked out.
On another note, they could have tweaked something in EA server centers that is causing the instability. OR they could be getting attacked by hackers at their server points. Whichever it is, its making the game unstable for a lot of players.
Most companies will come out and speak out when their game is having trouble, and that would honestly give a good amount of players piece of mind. Give them a simple: "We do not know the issue, but we are looking into many platform problems and seeking a solution."
When you don't value your clients time/money, you're going to end up losing out, that's business 101. Its a corporate pyramid and I highly doubt most the dev's/forum personnel have authority to release notes without the chain of command giving the green light.
