9 years agoI finally got them to say. The child online privacy protection act aka Coppa. Although it doesnt prohibit them from playing it governs how the companies collect and use the information from accounts that are under the age of 13

8 years agoHow is this still happening? Why does EA do junk like this and make it harder for people young or old to enjoy their games? Why have the crappy origin experience, why prevent my son from enjoying this game with his friends? Why punish a dad for trying to do it the right way and monitor their time and content through parental controls. I should just be like the other dads and let them have an adult account... come on EA, quit f-I g up this franchise with poor decisions. I would be fired for * like this, do none of the execs their have teen kids who love Star Wars and want to play with their friends?!?! I am baffled by this incompetence...
