My son can not play Battlefront II multiplayet on his Xbox Live account.

Hello,

My son can NOT play the Battlefront II multiplayer on his Xbox Live account. Is there a fix in the works to allow child's accounts to play with parents permission? All the Xbox live settings are set up correctly to have him play, this seems to be an EA issue. One of the reasons I purchased the game is because I knew my son was a Starwars fan (it is a Disney franchise after all) and would want to play the game. I have never had this problem with any other game franchise we have tried to play on his account. This is a Disney franchise and it seems a bit ridiculous to think EA has locked anyone under a Childs account from playing a great portion of this Starwars game.

Thank you,
Anthony

  • I bought this game specifically for my kids, only to learn afterwards that they can't play the game online. I learned a lesson the usual way...the hard way. But nonetheless, I learned it, and won't be buying another EA product going forward.

  • I agree with this I'm 12 but star wars is  not violent at all I don't see any bad language blood or the guns aren't like real guns because their colorful like green blue and red

so I can't conclude why their block a game that is 16 plus nut it should be a 7 so I'm confused why they've blocked kids from under 16 from playing this but on ps4 and ps5 i can play when my age restriction on their is 12 so I'm confused EA please fix this.

"governs how the companies collect and use the information from accounts that are under the age of 13"

This is why they lock them down... no secondary money to be made because the law doesn't let them exploit children.
